Rules of Conduct
These basic rules of conduct will help you get the most out of your HIT CrossFit experience. (Rules stolen liberally from Desert CrossFit, Palm Desert, CA)
1. Speak your mind (Just remember your audience!)
2. Don’t cheat. If you have to scale a workout, do it. Just tell the coach.
3. Leave your ego at the door. It will more than likely get a beatdown if you don’t.
4. Introduce yourself to all newcomers. You may need them to help you off the floor and “Hey, Bro” is so impersonable.
5. No dress code. No shirt, no shoes, no problem. And dresses are completely optional, your call.
6. Get here early, stay late. Cheering on others and watching them grunt, cry, sweat and curse thru a workout is the most fun you’ll have all day!
7. If someone passes out, pukes or is in a state of “la-la land”, they are simply “resting”.
8. Crashing to the floor, unable to move, talk or control your bodily functions can be considered “scaling”.
9. You will squat. No way around it. Get over it.
10. You can yell, scream, cry, pout, grunt, bleed, curse, whimper or pass out. JUST DON’T QUIT!
11. It is a requirement to brag about the WOD you just crushed to all your friends, relatives and other globo gym losers.
12. Bring a freind or family member. Just face it, when you look like crap from an intense workout, you don’t want to be around strangers!
